16 health organisations sign up to the Australian Allocate Cloud with a new SaaS rostering product

The Allocate Cloud removes reliance on internal infrastructure and the associated costs whilst securing data from the constant threat of cyberattacks.

Allocate Software is pleased to announce another 16 Australian healthcare organisations have signed on to use its new SaaS product in the Allocate Cloud.

The Allocate Cloud service has been designed with Australian healthcare organisations’ needs in mind, delivering frequent software updates and minimal downtime. The SaaS product manages roster creation and approval workflow, then compares actuals using time and attendance to deliver pay file integration.

It also allows healthcare staff to have secure remote access to the software from anywhere at any time via mobile phone or a desktop computer.

Rostering and labour management via complete cloud service       

Since the acquisition of RosterOn in 2011, Allocate Software has moved quickly to meet the growing demands of the healthcare sector in relation to rostering, labour management, and time and attendance tracking and management.

Allocate Software’s ANZ General Manager Matt Durston said the Australian Allocate Cloud had been developed to specifically meet the needs of public and private healthcare organisations across all Australian States.

The delivery of the SaaS solution via the Cloud takes the customer experience to a new level of performance with proactive support and state of the art security delivering cost savings when compared to on-premise IT infrastructure. End-users will also benefit from new functionality through quicker Cloud deployment, he said.

“We want to ensure our customers are receiving maximum benefit from the solution from a performance and a functional perspective.  The SaaS product also offers an additional services component such as proactive monitoring of the background tasks and the electronic Roster Maturity Index report.”, Matt Durston said.

Cloud solution a “no brainer” decision

Jorge Silveira, Northeast Health Wangaratta CIO, said moving to the cloud was a “no brainer” decision.

“In terms of operations management, having direct access to quality support is critical. Moving to the cloud is also a cost-effective licensing and hosting solution,” Jorge Silveira said.
